To enhance students' awareness of national security, their understanding of the rule of law, and their attitude towards healthy living, the School's National Security Education Working Group, Values Education Group, and Counselling Group specially arranged two highly educational thematic talks during the assembly on 7 October 2026 — "National Security Mentor Talk" and "Anti-Drug Thematic Sharing."

The first part of the assembly was the National Security talk, for which we were honoured to invite Chief Superintendent Lam Hung-chuen, Deputy Commander of the Hong Kong Island Region of the Police Force, and National Security Mentor Zhan Baoyu (District Councillor for Kwun Tong District) as keynote speakers. Through real-life cases and professional explanations, the guests analysed the importance of national security in an accessible manner, helping to strengthen students' correct awareness of law-abiding behaviour and sense of national identity.

The subsequent anti-drug thematic talk was delivered by Mr To of the Tseung Kwan O Youth Outreach Social Work Team of the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association. Drawing on rich frontline experience and vivid cases, Mr To profoundly revealed the serious harm of drugs to individuals' physical and mental health, families, and future prospects, reminding students to remain vigilant at all times, resolutely stay away from drugs, and build a positive outlook on life.

The School sincerely thanks the Hong Kong Island Region of the Hong Kong Police Force and the Tseung Kwan O Youth Outreach Social Work Team of the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association for their strong support and wonderful sharing. We hope that students will integrate and apply what they have learned from the talks, and become good young people equipped with national security awareness, self-discipline, and law-abiding behaviour.

為提升學生的國家安全意識、法治觀念及健康生活態度，本校國家安全教育工作組、價值教育組及輔導組於2026年10月7日周會特別安排了兩場極具教育意義的專題講座——「國家安全導師講座分享」及「禁毒主題分享」。

周會首部分為國家安全講座，有幸邀請到警務處港島總區副指揮官林鴻釧總警司及國安導師詹寶瑜（觀塘區議員）擔任主講嘉賓。嘉賓們透過真實案例與專業講解，深入淺出地向同學們剖析國家安全的重要性，有助加強同學們確立正確的守法意識與國民身份認同。

隨後的禁毒主題講座，則由香港基督教女青年會將軍澳青年外展社會工作隊的杜Sir主講。杜Sir結合豐富的前線工作經驗與生動案例，深刻揭示毒品對個人身心健康、家庭及前途的嚴重危害，提醒同學們時刻保持警覺，堅決遠離毒品，建立積極正向的人生觀。
