International Cultural Food Day

2025年12月10日

Date : 2025 - 12 - 10

Ching Kok School held its International Cultural Food Day on December 10th, and the students participated with great enthusiasm and joy. The atmosphere was lively, filled with wonderful aromas and cheerful laughter. Students from diverse cultural backgrounds thoughtfully prepared traditional dishes from their home countries to share with their peers and teachers. This allowed everyone to taste flavours from around the world and created a vibrant environment of cultural exchange across the campus.

We were greatly honoured to have Ms. Fan Wai‑chung, Amy, Senior Curriculum Development Officer (Language Support/English) from the Education Bureau, join us at the event. Her presence, encouragement, and support added much prestige and warmth to the occasion.

Throughout the event, students actively used English to introduce the names of the dishes, describe their cultural origins, and explain how they were prepared. In this relaxed and joyful setting, they not only enhanced their language skills but also deepened their understanding of cultural diversity and appreciation of different traditions.

In addition, many teachers dressed in traditional clothing, bringing even more colour and energy to the event and helping everyone feel more engaged. Seeing students participate wholeheartedly, share willingly, and appreciate one another is the greatest motivation for us to continue organising such activities.

We sincerely thank all the teachers and students who prepared food, helped with decorations, supported logistics, and participated in the event. Your efforts made the day smooth, successful, and memorable. We look forward to connecting cultures and each othe once again through food in our future events.
